Trefethen 'Halo' Vertical 2014, 2015 and 2016
Third generation vintners Lorenzo and Hailey Trefethen have given special access to their family’s library to create this rare vertical of our most beloved and exquisite Cabernet Sauvignon.
Three distinctive vintages of HāLo are presented in a beautiful wooden box. HāLo is sourced exclusively from our Hillspring vineyard, where shallow, rocky soils, coupled with a climate protected from fog and wind, provide for truly exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon.
VINTAGE 2014 The weather throughout the growing season was absolutely perfect, with our classic warm days and cool nights. The resulting wine has aromas of forest floor, chocolate, bay leaf and cherry that dance in the glass. The palate is rich with ample tannins and complex flavors of plum, black currant, tobacco and a touch of peppercorn.
