Rônin, produced by winemaker Tim Drake, bursts from the glass with a rush of wild berries—black raspberry, mulberry, and just-ripe cherry—wrapped in savory spice and that unmistakable whisper of Texas dust. It’s a wine shaped by wind, sun, and soul—led by Grenache’s juicy openness, deepened by Mourvèdre’s earthy edge, and supercharged by Cabernet Sauvignon.

On the nose, aromas of dried sagebrush, cracked pepper, and warm terra cotta draw you in. The palate is expansive and layered: ripe red fruit gives way to darker notes of plum and black tea, all stitched together with firm but approachable tannins and a backbone of dry, sunbaked minerality. There’s a wildness here—something untamed yet beautifully composed.
