This refined Merlot-led blend—90% Merlot from Family Vineyard and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from Dell Valley Vineyard, produced by Tony Offill—showcases the balance and approachability of the Texas High Plains with added structure from a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose opens with ripe black cherry, plum, and blackberry, layered with notes of cocoa powder, dried herbs, and subtle cedar.

On the palate, Merlot’s plush, dark-fruited core is complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon’s firm backbone, delivering flavors of black raspberry, currant, and a hint of baking spice. Medium-bodied with smooth, well-integrated tannins, the wine finishes polished and persistent, with gentle savory and mineral undertones.
